Accountability Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

This XRI Accountability Policy (the 'Accountability Policy'), sets forth the accountability commitments of Cannon Tomlinson Mansley Ltd, 5 Stow Court, Stow Road, Stow-cum-Quy, Cambridgeshire CB25 9AS, United Kingdom ('I-Broker') to our Registrants, and the corresponding commitments of our Registrants to the I-Broker, the Registry Operator, and to other Registrants. Any acceptance of Registrant.s application or requests for Service and the performance of I-Broker.s Service for Registrant will make this a mutual binding commitment that may only be modified in accordance with the terms hereof.

2. DEFINITIONS

  1. Global Services Specifications (GSS). 'Global Services Specifications' or 'GSS' shall mean the specifications published by XDI.ORG governing the operation of operation of services offered by XDI.ORG and its authorised agents. The GSS is set forth in Exhibit A of this Agreement and http://gss.xdi.org.
  2. Registrant. 'Registrant' means an individual or organisation that enrolls with I-Broker to obtain a service from the GRS Registry System.
  3. Registration Agreement. 'Registration Agreement' means the document under which a Registrant registers with I-Broker for one or more services from the GRS Registry System.
  4. Service. 'Service' means services provided by I-Broker in connection with the XRI under this Registration Agreement, and includes contracting with Registrants, collecting registration data about the Registrants, and submitting registration information to a Contact Agent or Contact Data Custodian.
  5. XRI. 'XRI' means a URI-compatible scheme and resolution protocol for abstract identifiers used to identify and share resources across domains and applications as set forth by the OASIS XRI Technical Committee (http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/xri/).
Other terms used in this Agreement as defined terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the context in which they are defined, or, if not defined herein, shall have the definitions set forth in the I-Broker Agreement.

3. I-BROKER'S ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITMENTS

I-Broker hereby warrants and represents that it will take the following steps to assure accountability with respect to XRI registration and use:
  1. @ Registry Maintenance. I-Broker has registered and will, throughout the duration of its service as an I-Broker, maintain registration of @you that is registered with Full Contact Data;
  2. I-Broker Identity. I-Broker's official legal name is Cannon Tomlinson Mansley Ltd. I-Broker is a private limited company organised and in good standing in England. I-Broker is physically located at 5 Stow Court, Stow Road, Stow-cum-Quy, Cambridgeshire CB25 9AS, United Kingdom. I-Broker's mailing address is 5 Stow Court, Stow Road, Cambridgeshire CB25 9AS, United Kingdom. I-Broker's contact page is located at http://equalsyou.com/contact_us.html. The foregoing will be updated promptly in the event there are any changes. This information is also available via the Registry Info Service as set forth in Section 2.6.3 of the GSS.
  3. I-Broker Policies and Documents: In respect to XRI services and registration, I-Broker maintains a complete and accurate list of the policies and documents that apply to I-Broker's Services at http://equalsyou.com/policies/.
  4. Contact Service. I-Broker has contracted with XRI Contact Services, Inc. to provide contact services for I-Broker sponsored Registrants.
  5. Conformance with XRI Global Accountability Policy. I-Broker shall assure that this Accountability Policy is in conformance with the XDI.org Global Accountability Policy.

4. REGISTRANT'S ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITMENTS

Registrant hereby warrants and represents that it will take the following steps to assure accountability with respect to XRI registration and use:
  1. Registration Information. Registrant certifies that all data provided by Registrant in the XRI registration application is true, correct, up to date and complete.
  2. Compliance with Policies and Agreements. Registrant has had a full and fair opportunity to review the I-Broker's Policies and Documents identified at Section 3.3 above and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of each.

5. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Except for disputes based on trademark challenges to a Registrant's XRI, which are governed and controlled exclusively by the GDRP, all enforcement action hereunder, and disputes related hereto shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England. Registrant and I-Broker hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction in England without respect to choice of law.

6. MODIFICATIONS

This policy may be updated from time to time. Proposed alterations shall be posted at http://equalsyou.com/policies/accountability.html not less than thirty days in advance of the date such alterations shall take effect.
